Giving Tuesday

Since 2016, Serve and Connect has built a movement that has engaged 75+ police departments and 200+ community organizations across South Carolina. Our programs reach thousands of people each year. 2022 has been a year of growth and impact for Serve and Connect. Together we:

• Expanded Greg’s Groceries with 70% of South Carolina counties now having at least one participating department.
• Distributed over 2,500 boxes of Greg’s Groceries to families and individuals in need.
• Expanded the Bountiful Harvest event with added partners in Lexington and a new Bountiful Harvest event in Florence.
• Launched the North Columbia Youth Empowerment Initiative’s Student Ignite afterschool program.
• Launched our new Richland Compass Site.
• Hosted 6 interns from 3 colleges and universities.

Together We Can is more than a slogan or end of year giving campaign. It’s an extension of our organization’s why, our work, and our values. It’s a celebration of all that we have accomplished together and an opportunity to look forward to the future with hope. We don’t believe in us vs. them. We believe that together we are better and that together, we can create lasting change.
