Patrolman First Class Adam Blankenship Recovery Fund

Support Patrolman First Class Adam Blankenship

On December 8, 2023, Mt Pleasant Police Department attempted a traffic stop on a subject who then fled officers. Patrolman First Class Adam Blankenship was a backup officer and became involved in a foot pursuit of a subject when PFC. Blankenship attempted to cross the westbound lanes of Hungry Neck Rd. where he was struck by a vehicle. The officer sustained several internal injuries. Patrolman First Class Blankenship will have to undergo many medical procedures and surgeries to recover.

Patrolman First Class Blankenship has been with the agency since March 2022. He is a Citadel Alumni and currently a Lieutenant in the United States Army. He was recently commended for his work ethic and his positive engagement with students while working security at a local school. PFC Blankenship was recently married to his wife, Amrika Blankenship.

This fundraiser is intended to support PFC. Blankenship and his family moving forward in his recovery. 100% of the funds raised will be given to PFC. Blankenship. Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers as he starts his road to recovery.
